It was just amazing!
At the opening scene I almost cryed and my inside 5 years old just kept laughing and enjoy every second.
The costumes were fantastic and the overall performance of each actor and dancer was great. Rafiki was definitely my favorite.
I truly loved it!

I agree with your suggestion it is not suitable for under 6 yrs old. We took my just six and eight year old grandchildren. They both enjoyed it. i think little one did not understand all the dialogue and therefore switched off from time to time. Our eight year old loved every minute. However, I spoke to them both this morning and having slept on it our six year old took on far more than I originally appreciated. My husband and i absolutely loved every minute. Many thanks to all the cast and crew

This is the 3rd time I have come to see the Lion King and seating carried. It was difficult to hear some of the performers while they were singing.
That would probably be due to the seat I had chosen.
Overall I love the production so will see it again . I will also be careful of the seats I pay for

I am most annoyed about the cost that I paid for four tickets when I booked them I paid £93.00 each when I collected them at the box offices to my amazement the price on each ticket is £77.50 I want a refund of the difference please send me an email by return so we can sort this out as I feel totally ripped off. I await your reply a sap.

Excellent performance from the cast of the lion king in the Lyceum theatre. Animals were fantastic, dancing and singing was brilliant. Acting superb. Actor playing Scar was brilliant! Well worth a visit

OVERPRICED

ALTHOUGH THE SHOW HAD SOME SPECTACULAR COSTUMES AND FEATURES, I THOUGHT THE PRICE FOR A CENTRAL SEAT, FOUR ROWS FROM THE STAGE WAS VERY DEAR. THE VIEW WAS PARTLY RESTRICTED, AS THE FLOOR DID NOT SLOPE. THE SEATS WERE LOWER THAN THE STAGE, SO I MISSED SOME ACTION ON THE STAGE FLOOR AND ALSO A FEW PEOPLE'S HEADS IN FRONT OBSCURED THE VIEW, EVEN THOUGH THERE WERE ONLY THREE ROWS. THE SOUND QUALITY WAS NOT GREAT AND I COULD NOT HEAR ALL THE DIALOGUE CLEARLY, SO I OBVIOUSLY MISSED SOME MOMENTS, AS OTHER PARTS OF THE THEATRE SEEMED TO BE HEARING THINGS BETTER.

The show was wonderful but a technical problem in the second half caused them to announce the show would be stopped. It was only for a short time but we didn't know what was going on and it was the thing the children remembered which is a shame when you are paying £150 a ticket. Great performance though.
